TRANSWESTERN WELCOMES DEKE SCHULTZE

(JUNE 26, 2025 – DALLAS) Transwestern announces Deke Schultze has joined Transwestern Investment Group (TIG®) as Senior Managing Director, Capital Formation. Schultze will play a key role in leading the firm’s capital formation strategy, while supporting business development and capital raising efforts across the enterprise, which includes TIG, Transwestern Development Company (TDC), Transwestern Commercial Services (TCS), and Transwestern Hospitality Group (THG).

“Deke brings deep experience in real estate private equity,” said Charles Hazen, President of TIG. “His investment acumen and partnership mindset make him an outstanding addition to the team as we continue to broaden our investment offerings through product expansion and differentiation, capital formation and investor outreach.”

Schultze brings over 20 years of broad-based real estate investment management experience to this role. He most recently served as Client Portfolio Manager on the Capital Formation team at Lionstone Investments, where he led capital formation strategies. This included directing product development and go-to-market fundraising while developing and managing investor relationships. Previously, he was a Principal at Rubenstein Partners and a Senior Vice President at Clarion Partners.

“Transwestern Investment Group’s reputation as a trusted fiduciary and track record of high performance makes this an exciting opportunity,” said Schultze. “I look forward to developing new and existing client relationships while delivering attractive products and strategies through our differentiated and integrated operating model – one that leverages insights and opportunities from our capabilities across real estate investment management, property services, development and data analytics.”
